HuntNFL offers 3-day guided Osceola turkey hunts in Florida for hunters pursuing one of the most sought-after wild turkey subspecies in North America. We hunt both private and public land throughout the Osceola turkey’s natural range in Florida, allowing us to adapt hunts based on current bird activity, hunting pressure and conditions.
Our Florida Osceola turkey hunts are not limited to a single property or one small hunting area. HuntNFL operates on both private and public land across the Osceola turkey’s natural Florida range.
Having access to different hunting areas allows us to adjust to bird movement, hunting pressure, weather and changing spring conditions. Depending on the hunt and current conditions, hunters may experience Florida pine woods, palmetto country, pastures, wetlands and other habitat where Osceola turkeys naturally live.
Florida is the only place in the world to pursue the Osceola wild turkey in its native range, making these hunts especially popular with hunters working toward a Turkey Grand Slam.
Whether this is your first guided turkey hunt or the Osceola is the missing bird in your Grand Slam, our three-day format gives you more than a single morning to locate birds, adjust to conditions and pursue your Florida gobbler.

Hunting Throughout Florida’s Osceola Range
$4,000 Per Hunter, Per Turkey
Every guided Osceola turkey hunt in Florida is different. Weather, hunting pressure, gobbling activity and bird movement can change quickly during the spring, so our hunts are built around adapting to the conditions rather than following the same plan every day.
Before and during your hunt, HuntNFL evaluates current turkey activity and determines where we believe you have the best opportunity. Depending on conditions, your hunt may take place on private or public land within the Osceola turkey’s natural range in Florida.
Our three-day format gives hunters time to locate birds, learn their patterns and make adjustments when necessary. Some gobblers cooperate quickly. Others require multiple setups, changing locations or returning to an area after learning how a bird is using the property.
Your guide will help with locating birds, calling, setup selection and making adjustments throughout the hunt.
Turkey hunting starts early. We plan to be in position before daylight so we can listen for gobbling birds as they wake up on the roost.
Once a bird is located, we’ll use the terrain, cover and wind to determine the best approach and setup. Depending on the situation, we may call to the bird, wait along a known travel route or reposition as the gobbler moves after fly-down.
Osceola turkeys can become especially challenging once they hit the ground. Thick vegetation, hens and hunting pressure can quickly change a bird’s behavior, which is why patience and the ability to adjust are important parts of hunting Florida gobblers.
If the first setup doesn’t produce an opportunity, the hunt continues. We may relocate, scout additional areas or target another bird based on current conditions.
The Osceola wild turkey is native to Florida and is one of the most sought-after wild turkey subspecies in North America. Its limited natural range makes Florida a destination for turkey hunters from around the country.
Osceolas inhabit a variety of Florida environments, including pine flatwoods, palmetto country, wetlands, pastures and agricultural areas. The combination of thick vegetation, water and changing spring conditions creates a style of turkey hunting that can be very different from pursuing Eastern, Rio Grande or Merriam’s turkeys elsewhere in the country.
Understanding how Osceola gobblers use this habitat is key to consistently locating and hunting them.
Hunters who want to learn more about the bird itself can read our complete guide to the differences between the Florida Osceola turkey and Eastern wild turkey.
For many traveling hunters, Florida represents an important stop in the pursuit of a Turkey Grand Slam.
The traditional U.S. Wild Turkey Grand Slam consists of harvesting the Eastern, Rio Grande, Merriam’s and Osceola wild turkey. Because the Osceola’s natural range is limited to Florida, hunters pursuing the Grand Slam eventually have to come to the Sunshine State to complete the Osceola portion of their goal.
HuntNFL’s 3-day guided Osceola turkey hunts are well suited for traveling hunters specifically coming to Florida in pursuit of this unique bird.
Whether the Osceola will be your first Grand Slam species or the final gobbler you need to complete your Slam, we’ll focus your hunt on pursuing Osceola turkeys within their natural Florida range.
HuntNFL guides hunters on both private and public land throughout the Osceola turkey’s natural range in Florida.
Rather than marketing one property as the answer to every hunt, we recognize that turkey hunting conditions change. Gobblers move, hunting pressure changes, weather affects activity and productive areas can vary throughout the spring.
Having experience hunting different types of Florida turkey country allows us to approach each three-day hunt according to the conditions we’re actually seeing.
Our goal is straightforward: put you in quality Osceola habitat and give you a professionally guided opportunity to pursue one of Florida’s most iconic game birds.
Florida’s spring turkey season provides hunters with the opportunity to pursue Osceola gobblers during one of the most exciting times of the year. Season dates and hunting regulations can vary by location and land type, so hunters should review current requirements before their trip.
